Heaters of Metal is a psychedelic/folk collaboration between Zach Madden and various artists on the Corporate Nightmare roster.
Featuring (in no particular order):
Craig Costigan, Mike Echternacht, Graham Palmer, Michael Madden, Rob Taylor, Even Caston, Jeff Sparks, Eric Bardakos, Josh Morlan, Ray Fortune, and others (I’m sorry, lemme know and I’ll put you in here)…
All the tracks begin with a live take of guitar and voice from Zach, set to no particular tempo or click track. Often someone is present to play brushes on a snare or a timely shaker. This helps keep things moving. Subsequent tracks are laid down in similar carefree fashion to add texture and nuance. Always the gear is old and warm and comforting. We try to keep the tracks spare and to the point.
